As a follow on to our story yesterday, we are engaged with the wonderful people at the Huron Perth Quilter's Guild to create and donate 93 handmade quits to the 89 newcomer families. Our program includes learning how to create these custom quilts and distribute to each.

Quilts for Newcomers!

We had a visit from the Huron Perth Quilter's Guild and a donation of 6 quilts for newcomers! You can see the thought and love put into each one down to the Ukrainian yellow and blue hearts. What a welcome gift for this particularly brave region of our newcomers and a new family heirloom.

What wonderful support we receive from the community which enables us to do what we do for newcomers and those in need!
