Let's get driving!
Yosef has been busy volunteering with us since arriving and has achieved a personal goal of getting licensed to drive for a living! We love not only helping start a new chapter in life, but seeing the progress and results personally and professionally.

Happy International Volunteers day this week! Congrats to all helping yourselves and others at the same time.

We love getting together as a multicultural association. Wonderful lunch this week at the Quality Inn in Stratford with wonderful dishes from India, Ukraine and Ethiopia!

Thank you to the chefs and people who support each other no matter what our country of origin!

We are so proud to see our newcomers become part of the community, build a new life, and play a role in the leadership of Stratford.

We were lucky enough to be invited to a ceremony at Seneca College in Toronto. It was a happy day when newcomer students were welcomed into college but today we are even prouder to see some graduates!

Thank you to supporters and volunteers for enabling us not only to bring newcomers safely here, but also set them up for success in their new home.

Let it snow!

Getting out in a new community can be daunting for newcomers. We do it by enjoying the simple things like getting outdoors, enjoying the snow, and clearing walkways for our neighbours and those in need.

If you know of someone who needs a drive-by shovelling, let us know and enjoy the festive weather!
