Thank you to everyone who attended last night's Stratford Municipal Election Think Tank! Candidates for the election and community members brainstormed some amazing and innovative ideas for making our community a better place for all. The themes that were discussed included climate change and the environment, poverty reduction, systemic racism, sustainable economic growth, and health and wellness. Some development out at Dufferin Park Community Farm! Perth Ready Mix donated and delivered a few yards of concrete to us for our new compost center! Today at The Local, Kitchen Skills Educator, Ben, made some beautiful apple and pumpkin pies for Stratford Connection Centre's Thanksgiving dinner. Jenn, our Food Logistics Manager, brought home a truckload of colourful, nutritious veggies from the Elmyra Produce Auction. And our Community Chefs, Erin and Cole (pictured), led the volunteer team in preparing today's Senior's Lunch! #MoreThanGoodFood
