The team of siblings who are owners of Sebringville Garden Centre are awesome!!! Not only will they have a booth at this year's Kiwanis Garlic Festival, but they are being so amazing about helping out the club as we get set up for this year's festival. They're helping us with all the decorating at that huge venue (Rotary Complex) and not only are they kind, but they are oh so nice as well. Thanks so much for all you're doing to help us. Oh how I love Stonetown Artisan Cheese! The three Francis boys (and their Dad) love cheese curds (or "squeaky cheese" as the boys call it), and every Thursday morning, Stonetown has fresh curds for purchase. They are soooooooo good! They're just past Rannoch west of St. Marys if you have a spare hour to drive there and back on a Thursday morning. Or better yet...just come to our Kiwanis Garlic Festival and discover them there! They have long been supporters of our Stratford Kiwanis Garlic Festival and we are so grateful to Stonetown for their ongoing support of our work in the community.
I will absolutely share this! It's the tradespeople who are never going to be declared redundant. I have a friend who became a dad many years ago. When his new son was born, I asked him if he was going to groom him to follow in his dad's footsteps in the legal community. His response caught me off-guard. He said absolutely not! He planned to encourage his son to get into a trade so that he'd be secure for life unlike so many professional careers. And he was a very, very smart, forward-thinking man.
